Oh, the weather outside is… weather. Winter blahs… reading, writing, and ugly Christmas sweaters. And calling all NetGalley reviewers!

I don’t know about you, but I am not a big fan of winter. Yeah, I’m Canadian, so what? I don’t like it. But, with most things I don’t like, I try to change my mindset, to turn a dislike into a neutral toleration.

What do I do to accomplish such an overwhelming feat? I read. I write. I watch films. When I’m not at work or hanging with my kids, that is.

Do any of you re-read books? I do. When I get stuck, and need something, I always revisit an old favourite, and it’s comfortable, seeing (reading) old friends and going along on their adventures. Comforting, like that old sweater in the closet, with the frayed cuffs, and holes, the one you won’t wear in front of company, but the first one you put on when you get home.

Lately, I’ve been reading John Sandford’s Virgil Flowers series, and I just started reading The Stand again by the master Stephen King.

In between the reading spurts, I’ve been writing the sequel to Doll House. And I wasn’t sure how it would go, but I knew there was a story there, and as usual, Olivia isn’t letting me down. I’m excited to sit down and write whenever I can. I expect, with how I’m going, that the book will be ready in the spring. And it’s going to be a doozy! Do people say doozy anymore?

NetGalley friends! Murder Run is still on the NetGalley site and will be available to review until the end of December… so, get on it would ya? The reviews so far have been very positive, and if you like fun horror, that kind of comes out of left field, and makes you laugh, cry, and check behind the doors, then this is the book for you! It’s climbing in the ratings on my Goodreads page, past Balance and past 4 Shots of Horror. Get a read on. Can’t wait to read what you think.

And here is an ugly Christmas sweater I’ve been eyeballing, but can’t justify paying that price…

Here is some Horror Holiday reading for you…

Goodreads Giveaway update, Halloween deal, Doll House sequel, My Self-Publishing Experiment, and tidying up, getting back on schedule…

See that little number there? How many people requesting? Just one shy of 500!? Ok, I’m blown away, and so grateful that so many people are interested in reading the chaotic words spilling from my brain. So, thank you!

Because of that interest, and my gratitude, I am offering a Halloween deal for Murder Run, the ebook! On that most sacred of thriller and horror lover days, my book will be available for $0.99! Yup.

So, if you happen to be one of those people who don’t win the giveaway, you can nab a copy at a discounted price. Happy Halloween!

Now, on to YouTube. I am almost finished with the project. After this week, I’ll add up all I spent, and calculate the results, and that should be the end of it… until my next book, the sequel to Doll House!

Here is the latest episode of MSPE:

After this, I’ll be getting back to my regular schedule. Working on the MOVIES OF THE DAMNED podcast, and the Doll House sequel. I am excited about this one. I’ve been canoodling over this one for some time now, and it’s percolated to perfection.

Thanks everyone. Really, this unknown author chasing a dream couldn’t be more happy or grateful for your continued support.

Have a great week. Be kind to everyone. Including yourself.
