This was going to be an epic ending the this week. Third cycle in a four cycle training regimen and I wanted it to end on a high! I was supposed to complete a 32km run for my long run. And it didn’t happen. For whatever reason, around the 17km to 18km point, my right hip started yelling at me. I had to listen. I’d stop, let it calm down for a bit, then get running again. I did this for 4km’s with the running length getting less and the walking time getting more. I had to call it. I didn’t want this pain to become an injury. It sucked, but hey, these things happen in training. But all in all, it was a good pace, and I’m happy with that. I just need to figure out what the heck happened with my hip. I’d run that far before and felt awesome after so, what gives? Here is my Garmin details of the run:

And now, on to the Ludicrous Challenge! Day 16, 16,000 words and at the end of today, I’ll be at 17,000 words. This is really fun. It hasn’t felt like a grind at all. I look forward to each session. It helps with keeping me on track and when I’m done a session, I’m immediately thinking of where it’s going so when I next sit down, it’s practically already have been written. Digging it. And if you’re a writer, why not giving it a try?
Halloween Ends? Short version. Trash. Absolute Trash. I’ll have a video up about it out tomorrow along with a blog. But yeah, I feel like my feelings have been hurt just watching it. I don’t know. They ruined something that had incredible potential.
More about that later.
And now for the local…
