Man oh, man, the buzz around this movie was crazy! There were two sets of fans to satisfy in this film: the Stephen King fans of the novel and, the fans of the first IT film, the miniseries starring Tim Curry as Pennywise all those years ago.
Now, enter the new kid, Bill Skarsgard, to play the most important character (arguably) in the IT saga, Pennywise the Clown. If he can’t sell it, the movie will suffer. And I’m guessing you already know that he killed it! He owned that character and it was apparent in the first scene, when he confronted Georgie from the sewer, that this film was going to be AMAZING! And it was. All the kids in this film, jeez, they blew me away with their ability. All of them were convincing, funny and well, just entertaining. And I can’t wait to see the sequel!
